Scituate | Cohasset Youth Football & Cheerleading, Tailgate Party & Fundraiser, 09.13.13
On Friday, September 13, SciCoh (Scituate & Cohasset) Football & Cheerleading, will be hosting their second TAILGATE PARTY & FUNDRAISER at Scituate's, THE RIVER CLUB.
This year's event will feature former New England Patriot, turned NFL analyst, JERMAINE WIGGINS and special guest, Patriot big man–VINCE WILFORK.
Music will be provided by ELBOW ROOM.
Additional highlights include: LIVE AUCTION, SILENT AUCTION, SHARKBITE APPETIZERS, CASH BAR.
Tickets are $50 and unfortunately, the event is for adults only.

At the beginning of the school year, a few freshmen in Holworthy decided to bring a new sport to Harvard: spikeball. But what started as fun in the Yard quickly became a full-fledged, very popular club sport. This Saturday, Harvard hosted the first inter-collegiate spikeball match against Dartmouth giving the football game that came later in the day a run for its money.
SPIKEBALL has become the most popular new product on our shelves. In this video, teams from Harvard and Dartmouth demonstrate this cool combination of FOURSQUARE and VOLLEYBALL – centered around a mini-trampoline.

Nothing can make my stomach turn faster!
I don’t think that I can think of anything that smells quite as bad as my son’s lacrosse equipment bag.
Hockey parents always attempt to one-up me, convincing me that hockey equipment bags reek even more. Okay fine, but I still can’t imagine anything, except death itself, that entraps more of the essence of sweat–than Taggart’s nylon “gym bag of stink.”
While visiting The Good Sport last week, Austin showed me a new product, O-Liminator, that–“Gets the Stink Out.”
From a design standpoint, the packaging is homegrown in appearance. However if you come from the school of, “Anything that looks this bad has to be good,” you will surely be attracted to the product.
Each foil pack (sells for $12.95) contains 2 O-Liminator packets. I placed both in the bag, hoping for super-duper-double-action and have been extremely pleased.
Sure, the fresh pine scent is more lumberjack than lax player, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. Trust me. – Doug.
