You only have to venture back 12 months in the Wayback Machine to see how the weather in New England can change from year-to-year. Last March, hitting the outdoor turf seemed like an impossibility. Then there was the big pile of grungy snow in South Boston that lasted well into the summer.
Well, folks, the grass is green, and lacrosse is in full swing. Because of this accelerated schedule, Cohasset's GOOD SPORT has consolidated three Town-Pride Saturdays into one HUGE Lax-a-pa-loo-za!
This Saturday, we will be celebrating three South Shore communities, Marshfield, Norwell and Hingham, for their support of youth lacrosse.
Although we encourage everyone to visit us whenever and as many times as possible, on March 12 we will be paying particular attention to Rams, Clippers and Harbor-people.
Beginner's Packages
For beginners, GOOD SPORT is offering special pricing on Boy's and Girl's Lacrosse Starter Packages. For boys, the package includes a stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads and mouth guard for just $199. From an equipment perspective, girl's lacrosse requires only a stick, protective eye goggles and a mouth guard for $59.
Cascade 'R' Helmets $199
We are also offering special pricing on the Cascade "R" helmet at $199. Looking for a Lax Wall? We have plenty in the store, also priced at $199.
For the spring season, GOOD SPORT has discounted all lax cleats at 10% off. Enjoy a 20% savings on all other lacrosse equipment. We also offer custom stringing for more experienced youth, high school, and college players.
Free Gift!
For those making a lacrosse purchase tomorrow, you will be able to select either a 3-pack of Nike socks, a dozen lacrosse balls, a JIMILAX stringing kit or a $20 GOOD SPORT Gift Certificate. Consider this as our thanks to you for supporting your town's sports programs and GOOD SPORT, your local sporting goods retailer.
On the following Saturday, March 19, TOWN-PRIDE Days for Hull and Cohasset have been scheduled.

So, let's be happy that we have set aside the snow shovels and are now reaching for out lacrosse sticks! I'll take 70 degrees over 70 inches of snow any day!
